The Cast 
Kim Akia is a New Jersey born actor. From a very young age, Kim Akia would always impersonate and mock characters from television. She studied dance, gymnastics, and played the piano and flute, but began taking acting classes at the age of 14 shortly after her move to Virginia Beach, Virginia. She starred in her first play in high School, playing the lead character in a play that she produced. After high school, she realized she had a deep interest for entertainment, specifically behind the scene in television and film. She decided to extend her college studies in that direction. Kim is a graduate of St. Johns University in Queens, New York with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Television/Film Production and a Masters in Media Management from Metropolitan College of New York. After graduating from St.John’s, Kim realized her true passion was acting, she began studying acting and is a recent graduate of the 2 year Conservatory Program at The William Esper Studio in NYC.

​Jamal Crowelle hails from Centreville, VA and has been living in NY for two years. He graduated Emory & Henry with B.A. in Acting while minoring in Literature and Creative Writing. Constantly busy living and learning, he just returned from the Co-Production of Peter and the Starcatcher in Cincinnati and Milwaukee and is thrilled to be back and apart of AEA . 

There is no limits to his interests: An actor , writer, singer, dancer,director, improviser, and model, he is equally thrilled and grateful for this opportunity and many, many, more in film, tv, and on the stage.

Ebeneezer Nii Sowah was born in Queens, New York to parents hailing from Ghana and Equatorial Guinea.

Ebeneezer Sowah studied under and was mentored closely by the late director and playwright, Titus Walker and was cast as the lead in two of his Off-Broadway plays, For the Love of my Black Woman, and Gospel of the Harlem Renaissance. Transitioning into film, Ebeneezer was cast in several independent and student productions. He studied under renowned acting coach,director, and author of TRUTH, Susan Batson in her Master Class. 

As of late, Ebeneezer just completed a lead role in a short film Stalking Ghosts and has booked lead roles in two independent feature films, Hoboken Vigilante, and Life Among Valley People. Ebeneezer currently resides in New York City.

​Emily Bennett is currently a recurring guest star on the NBC show Chicago Fire. Her recent film work includes such feature films as Resurrecting McGinns (Best Drama, Amsterdam Film Festival), House of the Witchdoctor (starring alongside Bill Moseley), Sour Girl (dir. James Mehr), and the horror short Diaries (Best Actress, Philadelphia Horror Film Festival). She trained at The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London (3 year BA Program).


  Rose-Emma is a Brooklyn based actor, originally from Syracuse, New York. A graduate of Binghamton University, she studied Theatre as well as Philosophy, Politics and Law. In New York she is both a performer and Adminstrative Assistant as part of The Humanist Project. She is currently the Director of Education and Outreach for {Your Name Here} A Queer Theater, also based in New York. She recently led the advocacy campaign and performed in a queered production of Romeo and Juliet at The Tank, in New York City, where raised awareness for issues involving LGBTQ youth. Rose-Emma also travelled to Durham, North Carolina to perform as Benvolio in Romeo and Juliet: Forbidden Love Comes to North Carolina as part of Theatre as Advocacy and the campaign against anti-LGBTQ Amendment One. A native of the California Bay Area, Leigh came to NYC to pursue her BFA in Acting from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts where she studied at the Lee Strasberg Theater and Film Institute. Leigh works as a teaching artist with several companies throughout the city such as The Park Avenue Armory, The Story Pirates, and Young Player's Theater. She is also a playwright and screenwriter, and her work in this field includes two seasons of the award winning web series, Dates Like This.

Leigh has years of experience as a professional cake decorator and you can still find her freelance decorating and covered in buttercream. A self-taught numerologist, she takes clients for readings and blogs about it at numerology.tumblr.com. She has a thing for the muppets, writing songs on her guitar, continuing her dynasty of pet beta fish, and rooting on the Sharks and the Rangers come hockey season.

A versatile and talented actor, Yaron Urbas has played everything from working class hero, soldier, mobster to cultured entrepreneur in various principal roles for feature films on Netflix and Amazon. Hit shows on Discovery ID, History Channel, Travel Channel, Bio, National Geographic and PBS. He has appeared in Lead and Support roles for many indie films and theater projects. He is known for bringing realness and truth to a character, he also has a great sense of comedic instincts which he often brings to even the most serious roles.
Nestor hails from the greatest city in the world, NYC, and can boast of an upbringing in the Nation’s Capital as well. 

 Nestor is a New York based actor with a detailed background in Video Production and is presently in his third year at the Actors Studio Drama School’s MFA program.

 Aside from working on some of his favorite roles like Youngblood in Jitney, Damon in Sunset Baby, Joe Pitt in Angels in America and Jack Jefferson in The Great White Hope, Nes’ most recent work includes the role of Julian in the short film Connection and the role of Clay in Dutchman. He's also acted as Nym, and Master Fenton in a stage version of The Merry Wives of Windsor along with co-starring as Lorenzo in The Merchant of Venice as part of the New York International Fringe festival.

 When not pounding the pavement to auditions he manages his hobbies of bike riding and strength training quite well while very much looking forward to someday stepping behind the camera as a writer/director.
Hollis is a New York Award Winning Actress living in Brooklyn, NY. After Graduating with a BA, Theater and Communications- University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill, NC, she continued to pursue her dream as an actress, writer and playwright. 

Credits include, the Award Winning Series "Brooklyn Is In Love," "The Jesus Picture," "Hands that Hold Us," "Afternoon Drinks," and "The Pressure." 

She is currently producing her first short film "The Night Runner," directed by Brandon Hughes. 
New York native Irma Cadiz is excited to be a part of the upcoming film "The Haunted Mind Of An Insomniac." She is currently starring in "JADED - The NY Effect," produced and written by Juan Rivera, and Directed by Danielle Earle. She has also been featured in the Award Winning Series  "Brooklyn Is In Love," produced by PL Entertainment LLC, and 'A Wound In Time," produced by Wet Productions.

Paul Salvetti is an American actor and producer whose interests extend to all aspects of film production.

Born in NY, raised in NJ, he attended G.W.U. in Washington, DC. where he graduated with a B.A. in Criminal Justice. After a “lucky” motorcycle accident, he landed with two feet on Wall Street, working there for a few years as a market-maker before transitioning to medical manufacturing, and then as a mechanic.

G. Paul’s career as an actor began later in life (even though he’s always been told he’s a character). He has a special affinity for period pieces and remains connected to history and art creation with his current profession as a demonstration blacksmith in historic Clinton NJ.

G. Paul remains eternally grateful to all those who have given him the opportunity to shine both in front and behind the camera.
